We’re thrilled to announce that our project has been awarded £38,580 in National Lottery Community Fund- Fairer Life Chances – helping us continue our work supporting people whose first language is not English, including refugees and New Scots.
Thanks to National Lottery players, we’ll be able to:
Provide ESOL language tuition to help improve English skills
Offer social and cultural activities that build confidence and community connections
Support families with a creche service during sessions
Run a summer school for learners
With the help of 65 dedicated volunteer tutors and our incredible Volunteer Manager, this project will reach around 170 people over the next year— helping to reduce isolation, improve education and employment prospects, and support integration into wider society.
A huge thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund and everyone who plays the National Lottery — you make this possible!
