Thank you to everyone who attended, took photos and helped with our St Andrew’s Night celebration on the 30th of November. We had a great time eating stovies, listening to live Scottish music and dancing. We hope you had a great time too and we hope you learned some new ceilidh dances!

Music for Syrians Concert
Scottish-Syrian Ceilidh
Now that you’ve learned ceilidh dancing at last month’s Burns Supper and Ceilidh, why not come along and join in the fun at the Scottish-Syrian Ceilidh, held in support of Stirling Citizens for Sanctuary and Better Life 4 Syrian Children!
There are still tickets available for the event, which will be held between 6-10pm on Friday 3rd March 2017 at Victoria Halls, Dunblane. Tickets are by donation, and can be purchased in advance from Smallprint, Beech Road, Dunblane. You can also reserve tickets for pick up at the door on arrival by emailing scfs.events99@gmail.com, and you can make your donation then.
As well as raising funds, this is a golden opportunity to welcome Syrian friends in our area to their new home and appreciate live Scottish and Syrian music, song and dancing. Performers include young local instrumentalists, guitarist Ayman Jarjour, local folk singers, some of our Syrian friends, and a local ceilidh band. Supper will be provided, thanks to local caterers and friends.
All proceeds will go to Stirling Citizens for Sanctuary and Better Life 4 Syrian Children.
We hope to see you there!
The Christmas Party
St. Andrew’s Ceilidh
This year’s St. Andrew’s Night Ceilidh to raise funds for the Syrian Children’s Creche was a terrific success with a record attendance.
All the traditional elements were there – the piper, stovies, music & singing, a raffle, ceilidh dancing – and the young ones even did the hokey cokey .
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the event’s success.
