Yesterday, we celebrated languages from all around the world! We celebrated our own version of last Tuesdays’s European Languages Day, making it into a day for International Languages instead!
We had some great activities, including:
1. Matching the flags to their countries
2. Writing about the country you’re from
3. Drawing a picture of yourself and writing the languages you speak
4. Identifying the language from a short sentence in that language

We also had other activities, like creating sentences from German words and trying out bilingual Arabic-English books! We had a great time, and we hope you did too.
