Wednesday, the 26th of January, we held our annual Burns Supper & Ceilidh at Allan Park South Church. It was a lovely experience to give international students a chance to try their hand, or feet should I say, at Scottish dance. For some of you, it was even a first at trying haggis, neeps, & tatties. Not so bad, eh?
We were graced with musical performances, spoken performances, and even a few sing-alongs – all to celebrate the talent of Scottish poet, Robert Burns. It was a lovely time and a chance to make memories with fellow Stirling School of English students and workers alike.
The night was a huge success, with nearly 100 in attendance, and we appreciate every tutor and student that helped make it possible. We also thank those of you who sent us your photos and are awaiting professional photos as well. They will be posted on our Facebook/Twitter soon as well as displayed in the Jan-Feb Newsletter!
